Step 1. Installation track judgment

The Mijia Curtain Companion supports Roman rods, U-shaped and I-shaped track.

Note:

If you have a Roman pole in your home, please buy the Mijia Curtain Companion (Roman Pole Version);

If you have a U-shaped rail or I-shaped rail in your home, please purchase the Mijia Curtain Companion (orbit version).

Step 2. Installation conditions for each track

· Roman pole

【1】If your curtains are through-type curtains, the top of the curtains to the ceiling should be greater than or equal to 40mm, and the shortest distance between two adjacent Roman circles should be greater than or equal to 95mm.

【2】If your curtain is a hanging type curtain, the thickness of the hanging ring should be greater than or equal to 4mm.

【3】This product is not suitable for rod-type curtains

【4】The diameter range of the rod path: 25-32mm or the corresponding circumference of 79-100mm, whichever meets one of the two can be satisfied.

【5】This product is only suitable for Roman rods with uniform thickness on both sides, not for Roman rods with different thicknesses at both ends, such as retractable Roman rods.

【6】There should be heads on both sides of the Roman rod, and the bracket and the Roman rod should be fastened so that they cannot be easily slid.

· U track

【1】The slot width on the bottom surface of the track is less than or equal to 8mm, and the distance from the top surface of the bottom of the lifting ring hook to the bottom surface of the guide rail: 16-25mm

【2】The bottom surface of the track should be kept smooth, and there should be no splicing code or other protrusions.

【3】The plugs at both ends of the track need to be tightened to prevent the machine from hitting the plug and the machine from falling.

【4】There should be rollers on both sides of the hanging ring of the curtain, and it cannot be a friction ring.

【5】In addition to the straight track, Mijia Curtain Companion also supports arc-shaped, L-shaped, U-shaped and other special-shaped tracks. Tookfun

For the special-shaped track, the conditions that need to be met at the turning point are as shown in the figure below: the distance from the starting point of the turning point to the wall corresponding to the tangential direction of the arc is ≥ 25cm.

· I-shaped track

【1】The I-shaped track needs to ensure that the bottom surface is flat, the width of the bottom surface is greater than or equal to 10mm, and The distance from the top surface of the bottom of the lifting ring hook to the bottom surface of the guide rail should be: 16-25mm.

【2】The bottom arc track is not supported.

【3】The plugs at both ends of the track need to be tightened to prevent the machine from hitting the plug and the machine from falling.

【4】In addition to the straight track, Mijia Curtain Companion also supports arc-shaped, L-shaped, U-shaped and other special-shaped tracks.

For the special-shaped track, the conditions that need to be met at the turning point are as shown in the following figure: The distance from the starting point of the turning point to the corresponding wall in the tangential direction of the arc should be 25cm.

Step 3. Installation Notes

【1】To ensure the installation effect, please wipe the surface of the curtain track clean before installing the Mijia Curtain Companion.

【2】After the Mijia Curtain Companion is installed, intelligent controls such as opening and closing the curtains according to the light can be set in the Mi Home App. To control the opening and closing of the curtains according to the outdoor light, please face the light sensor towards the window and install the Mijia Curtain Companion on the side close to the window. To ensure the light sensor sensing effect, please make sure that there is no opaque object in front of the light sensor.

【3】If you want to use the Curtain Companion on the double track curtain to control the front and rear curtains at the same time, you need to install the Mijia Curtain Companion for the front and rear curtains separately, and the edge distance between the front and rear rails must be greater than or equal to 5cm. If the distance between the front and rear rails is less than 5cm, there may be interference in the opening and closing of the curtains.

【4】It is not recommended to install the Mijia Curtain Companion on a track with a long service life. Due to the aging of the track or the ring, the material is relatively fragile, which may cause the curtain to loosen or fall.

【5】If the height of the curtain fabric itself is too high and the curtain fabric is dragged to the ground, in order to ensure the product experience, please roll up the lower edge of the curtain fabric until it no longer touches the ground.
